The company has a full array of machinery from the most prestigious worldwide suppliers. The basic operation of our production process is screw-cutting & turning precision parts by mechanical monospindle & multispindle and CNC monospindle & multispindle technology. In addition, we have machinery for supplementary processes, like grindings, honnings, threadings, and so one, that permits us supply products to our customers at a very advanced stage, including assembly and complex subassembly control.
Hard turning complements the grinding technology and makes possible to finish parts with extremely precision in linear and geometrical tolerances and to achieve outstanding surface finishes on heat-treated parts. This technological advance is now a reality at Vilardell Purtí.

Specific cleanliness and degreasing requirements, manufacturing aimed at producing ‘clean’ parts. Grey Room equipped with a machine used exclusively for final cleaning and connected to an ISO-8 White Room where all parts are assembled, checked and packaged if required.

Our desire is to manufacture high added value parts. We will continue investing in the technology and staff training required to achieve this aim. We have already incorporated some new technologies to this end and will gradually integrate some others.

We will be strengthening our Technical Department to ensure close contact with customers during the design phase and, if required, to develop products based on a functionality defined by our customers or by devising special processes.
Last December 2018 our responsibles for Tech. Dept. -Xavier Palau-, Repris -Toni Pérez- and our Director of the Industrial Division - Jordi Roy travelled to Milan (Italy) to carry out the "set-up" of Honintec's new multi-head honing machine.
The acquisition of this machine has to solve the "bottle neck" that we have at the moment in the burnishing section and allow us to increase our production capacity and also to react to the current or future increases that we may have from our customers.
The machine is scheduled to be fully operational 100% during the month of January 2019.
The Cluster of the Automotive Industry of Catalonia (CIAC) recognized Vilardell Purti, s.a. with the Award to the Best Internazionalization Plan during the 3rd. Edition of the Auto Meeting.
The annual event organized by the Cluster was held on June 28, 2018 in La Llotja del Mar Palace in Barcelona.
The CIAC awards recognize those companies that with their task boost the competitiviness of the Catalan automobile industry.
Vilardell Purtí received the Award having achieved a sustained and profitable growth and position intself as la lider in the sector of screw cutting and turning, both nationally and internationally.
The 3rd. Edition of these Awards also distinguished Continental Automotive with Ciac Award for the Best automotive company, to Grupo PREMO with the Ciac Award for the Best Innovation strategy and to SEAT Barcelona with the CIAC Award to the Best Industrial productivity.
